Lakeview Treehouse Lodge | Rustic Alpine Escape

Okay value for money, good location and view. Positive: The location and the view was fantastic. The size of the house was great for the five of us. Negative: It was very cold on arrival, and the heat pump is an older one so it took a long time to heat the property, plus turning on all the heaters in the room. It may have been nice to have these turned on for us seeing as it was winter. Possibly could save on power if a newer heat pump was installed. The beds were mostly comfortable, a bit firm for our liking. There was very little in the way of cleaning items, we dropped some food on the floor but couldn’t find anything to clean it up with. There were no extra bin bags, or any spray and wipe for cleaning the bench. Also the outside stairs were very slippery and quite dangerous, a small little yellow sign saying slippery wasn’t really good enough to be honest. More could be done to make them safer, I mean the ice/frost will happen every year..

Lakeview Treehouse is well located, and offers a beautiful, breathless taking view of Wakatipu Lake The home itself is well equipped from the Kitchen to the bathroom, to the Living Room and the Bedrooms. The furnishings are all well colour coordinated.The Beds are comfortable. The house was lovely and views were stunning. Plenty of room for our family of 6.Ben and Chloe were very helpful and accomodating. Would definitely sray again.
