Central Spa Getaway Studio (F1)

Great location and amenities, but could definitely use some love with furnishings and the small things Positive: Great location and facilities (washer/dryer, kitchenette, spa), comfortable bed. Negative: Was a little rough with some of the decor/ furnishings. Weird camp chairs at the table, the lamps were super bright, I had to put them under the side tables with a towel along the top, linen was a bit ‘20 year old Batchelor’, the spa area was very rough and hard to use, especially if you used it after the sun went down. No real pavers in the area and uneven ground, and nowhere to put your things. Evening out the ground in there and adding some hooks or shelves to the colour bond would go a long way! Also the freezer in the mini fridge didn’t work, it didn’t get cold enough (even when I adjusted the temperature) so wouldn’t recommend buying anything that needed to be frozen.

Would have been acceptable if the price was in line with the level of noise control Positive: Everything available Negative: The noise between rooms and from people walking around on the deck. Consider upgrading the noise control system between rooms and underfloor

Very nice place but needs attention to resolve aforementioned issues Positive: Great location to access the vibrant port area Negative: Felt cramped, very limited storage to unpack suitcases, no shower door and support for shower wand was loose so that if water was turned up anywhere near 50% the head would rotate upward against exposed wall and run out into floor. Also no hooks in bathroom to hang towels, robe or clothes on. Also had shower drainage issues

Good location Positive: Location was good for exploring the area. We lucked out with parking being available- that was critical for us. Negative: We could not leave the curtains open as we faced the main street - no privacy. Hot tub was unusable - very dirty.
